1947 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith Franay Drophead Coupe
Chassis Number WVA63
One-Off!
Body by Franay of Paris!
This car was originally delivered to Dr. M. Adel Latif of Geneva Switzerland, and is the 148th from the start of production. Franay only built six bodies on the Silver Wraith chassis and this is the first one. Many devotees to the marque think of the tall, stately Silver Wraith as being the last real Rolls Royce. This view points out that no later model was fitted with solely specialist coachwork and that these bodies were of a wide range of designs, the work of at least a dozen coachbuilders. This particular car is the only drophead coupe that Franay ever built on the Silver Wraith chassis. This car was originally sold new to Dr. M. Adel Latif of Switzerland and has spent some time in Egypt and England before coming to the U.S. in 2002. All factory work orders are included with this super rare post war custom coachbuilt motorcar.
